Terms
Effective date: August 6, 2026
These terms describe the responsibilities that apply when a partner or user accesses SWAPS websites, APIs, dashboards, widgets, and trade-coordination infrastructure.
The SWAPS service
SWAPS is partner infrastructure for discovering and coordinating trades involving supported digital assets. Partners choose how to integrate and present SWAPS within their own experiences. Trade availability, transaction preparation, and settlement depend on current inventory, approvals, network conditions, asset rules, and the partner integration.
Credentials and wallet confirmation
- Partners and account users must protect account credentials, server keys, signing secrets, and other non-public integration credentials, and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- Publishable credentials may be used only in the browser flows for which they are intended. Server credentials and signing secrets must not be exposed in browser code or shared with unauthorized parties.
- Wallet users are responsible for protecting their wallets, reviewing transaction details, and confirming or rejecting wallet transactions themselves.
Fees and transaction amounts
Blockchain transactions may require native network fees. Applicable settlement flows may also include a SWAPS completion fee hold or escrow and other transaction-specific amounts shown before wallet confirmation. Network fees can change with network conditions, and a submitted transaction may still fail or remain pending.
Approvals, settlement, and custody
SWAPS is designed so supported assets remain in the user's wallet until the applicable approval, delegation, and settlement flow. The exact flow depends on the blockchain, asset standard, partner configuration, and transaction presented to the wallet. Preparing or approving a transaction does not guarantee that a trade will complete.
Blockchain, wallet, and provider risks
Public blockchains can experience congestion, confirmation delays, failed transactions, changing fees, protocol changes, and finality-related risk. Wallets, RPC services, marketplaces, and other providers may be unavailable, compromised, or provide incomplete or delayed information. Users and partners must evaluate the transaction and provider risks relevant to their use of SWAPS.
Acceptable use
You may not use SWAPS to:
- Violate applicable law or facilitate fraud, theft, sanctions evasion, money laundering, or other unlawful activity.
- Access another person's account, wallet, assets, or data without authorization.
- Interfere with the service, bypass access or security controls, introduce malicious code, or misuse credentials.
- Misrepresent transaction authority, asset ownership, or the origin of data submitted to SWAPS.
